Dr Patrick Wells

Trained at Adelaide uni – graduated MBBS 1978.
Then trained in anaesthetics, paediatrics, Gynaecology and obstetrics at the RAH, Queen Victoria Hospital & the Children’s hospital in Adelaide.
I have a diploma of obstetrics & gynae from the Australian College of O & G.
I have been in GP now for 35 years – I worked in Peterborough from 1981 to 1992 and since then at Nuriootpa.
My interests (non medical) are bike riding, reading music and theatre (not operating!) and of course CRICKET!!!!!!.....AND WEST ADELAIDE!!!! PREMIERS 2015!!!!!!
I enjoy all facets that rural general practice delivers, but I have always loved children.
Being a part of so many people’s lives is a very special privilege and the friendships you build up are what makes it such a great job.
Although I have retired from Obstetrics, I found that the most challenging, but easily the most rewarding.
Married for 34 years to the same wonderful lady, Ann, 3 grown up children AND ONE GRANDCHILD……
